Annual WFMD Fundraiser Brings Home $110,000 For Kids

The WFMD tradition of helping kids at Christmas continues! From December 2-6th WFMD devoted over 40 hours of air time towards raising money for families in Frederick County.
In total $100,000.19 was raised, all of which will stay local. The money will go toward buying toys, clothes and food for those in need in Frederick County.
The money will help 1,414 children from 559 families. We are proud of our colleagues in Frederick, and are honored to have the opportunity to serve the kids in our community.
