
Long Island Listeners Help Families in Need at Community Food Drives

WALK 97.5 hosted its 17th Annual Thanks For Giving Food Drive, an all-day broadcast which benefits Long Island Cares. The drive produced over twenty-two thousand pounds of food for Long Islanders who may not be able to put food on their dinner table.
103.1 MAX FM and 94.3 The Shark teamed up to host a dual station Broadcast in Smithtown benefiting Long Island Harvest. 2,343 Pounds of Mix and Assorted Foods were donated along with 64 Turkeys, cash contributions and gift cards.
