Connoisseur Media’s KXL has promoted Heather Roberts to News Director, expanding her leadership role at Portland’s heritage news station while continuing as co-anchor of Portland’s Morning News.

In her new position, Roberts will oversee the editorial direction of KXL’s news operation, guiding coverage and content strategy while maintaining her daily on-air responsibilities. She succeeds into a role that will help shape the future of one of Portland’s longest-serving news brands.

Roberts has been a key member of the KXL news team, earning a reputation for strong local journalism and a commitment to delivering timely, relevant information to listeners across the Portland metro area.
