CT Food Drives Huge Success
December 1, 2016
The Connoisseur Media CT Food Drives were a huge success this Thanksgiving. Each station was set up in different locations around the state the week before Thanksgiving:
95.9 the FOX was at Palmers Market in Darien.
Star 99.9 was at the Stop and Shop in Shelton.
991 PLR was at the Stop and Shop in East Haven.
1029 the Whale was at two Whole Foods in West Hartford and one in Glastonbury.
The donations go to Foodshare, Connecticut Food Bank and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Combined 959 the FOX, 991 PLR, 1029 the Whale and Star 99.9 beat the 2015 totals and brought in: $4,265.18 in cash, 7,255 pounds of food and 346 turkeys.
