Connoisseur Media announced today that it has entered into an agreement to sell fifteen of its Missouri radio stations to Carter Media LLC/Carter Media Too LLC, a broadcaster headquartered in Carrollton, MO.

Carter will acquire the following stations with their city of license: KAAN-AM/FM Bethany, MO; KWIX-FM Cairo, MO; KKWK-FM and KMRN-AM Cameron, MO; KIRK-FM Macon, MO; KTCM-FM Madison, MO; KRES-FM and KWIX-AM Moberly, MO; KJEL-FM and KBNN-AM Lebanon, MO and KFBD-FM, KOZQ-FM, KJPW-AM and KIIK-AM licensed to Waynesville, MO. The transaction is pending regulatory approval by the FCC and is expected to close early next year.

This sale by Connoisseur is another step in the company’s efforts to concentrate on markets where it can execute its successful playbook. It is one element in a larger strategic plan for the markets acquired in Connoisseur Media’s acquisition of Alpha Media that took place in September.
