Connoisseur Media announces that nationally recognized radio personality Blair Garner has joined the team at Country 97.9 KGNC, where he will host afternoons weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Garner is a familiar voice in country radio and brings his impressive resume to Amarillo’s Country 97.9 KGNC. He’s a member of both the Country Radio Hall of Fame and the National Radio Hall of Fame, and has earned nine Billboard Broadcast Awards, three ACM Awards, and multiple nominations for both the Marconi and CMA Awards throughout his distinguished career. Garner has hosted nationally syndicated country radio programs for nearly three decades and conducted more than 4,000 interviews with country music’s biggest stars. His return to Amarillo is also a homecoming, as Garner grew up in Canyon, Texas, where his broadcasting career began at just 17 years old.
