Connoisseur Media’s commitment to live, local radio is alive and well in suburban Chicago. From Crystal Lake to Joliet, listeners are about to experience a powerhouse lineup of familiar voices and community connections like never before in morning drive on Monday, November 3^rd, 2025.

The AM Drive on Star 105.5 (WZSR) in Crystal Lake proudly welcomes back Joe Cicero to the morning show and a Star 105.5 morning wouldn’t be the same without his longtime on-air partner, Tina Bree. Tina and Joe, the beloved duo, are officially back in the saddle again as the voice of Suburban Chicago, covering life’s biggest topics paired with the biggest feel-good hits from the 90’s, 2000’s, and today, all from a team that knows and loves the area they call home.

Joe Cicero shared his excitement about returning to the show that started it all, “After moving here almost 16 years ago to start mornings on Star 105.5, it was more than a radio show. This was a way to connect with so many people, starting with Tina and others who’ve become some of my best friends. I’m looking forward to fun-filled mornings and making new friends!”

Tina Bree added, “I’m beyond excited to be back in the mornings and to hear ‘Wake Up with Joe and Tina’ again! There’s a new vibe in the studio as we grow our connection with the community. Plus, we have a whole lot of laughter waiting to be shared! Joe and I are ready to bring a kind of morning show that feels like family again.”

Meanwhile, at Star 96.7 (WSSR) in Joliet, Eddie Volkman makes a triumphant return to morning drive, a familiar time slot for this renowned Chicago radio veteran.

“I’m thrilled to be back in the morning drive where I spent so many years in my career! It just feels natural,” said Volkman. “With the acquisition of our company by Connoisseur Media, you can feel the energy and enthusiasm everywhere in the station. We’re going to do radio the best way I know how…  live, interactive, and local.  I’m honored that I get to jumpstart the station every day!”

There’s another familiar name stepping up to host afternoon drive across Star 105.5 and Star 96.7 as Hannah B. returns to the PM Drive.  Jillian Dugan will hold down the fort during middays on Star 96.7 and 105.5 while adding a bit of banter alongside Eddie V. in the mornings.  Evenings will feature XYZ with Erik Zachary, returning to his original time slot during nights.
