1029 the WHALE and the Talk of Connecticut teamed up on August 31st for their annual Radiothon. This event is a huge fundraiser to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. The two stations broadcast live from the cafeteria of the hospital with stories from families, patients and doctors. The 12 hour event raised over $77,000 which will go directly to the hospital.
