Sam Pieprzyca Named Program Director Of 102.7 Bob Fm In San Antonio
March 17, 2026
As 102.7 embraces its new identity as 102.7 Bob FM, Connoisseur Media San Antonio has announced a key move: veteran radio personality Sam Pieprzyca has been named Program Director of the new 102.7 Bob FM. Pieprzyca brings more than two decades of experience in the Adult Hits format in San Antonio, along with deep ties to the station and the local community.
Sam’s expanded role will help guide the overall sound and personality of Bob FM as it continues programming with a broader playlist featuring favorites and deeper cuts from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s.
“I grew up listening to 102.7 here in San Antonio, and it’s always felt like part of this city’s soundtrack. It’s evolved over the years, but the focus is still the same — great music. I’m proud to take on a bigger role in continuing that tradition for San Antonio.”
“Pieprzyca’s long-standing connection to the market and his understanding of the format made him the
natural choice to lead the new Bob FM era”, said Keith Dakin, VP of Programming for Connoisseur Media. “With a refreshed brand and a seasoned local host like Sam, 102.7 Bob FM will deliver a more personal and music-driven experience for listeners across South Texas.”
“Sam has worked in the Adult Hits format for over 20 years in San Antonio and understands better than
anyone what 102.7 Bob FM should sound like to reflect the city’s rhythm and culture,” Greg Martin,
Operations Manager for Connoisseur Media San Antonio said. “He’s also one of the most creative writers and idea people you’ll ever meet. This promotion is very well deserved.”
Morgan Harrison, Connoisseur Media San Antonio VP Market Manager, agreed sharing this statement
about Pieprzyca’s dedication to the station and the South Texas community. “Sam has been a passionate, ideating, and radio-loving member of the team for years. The commitment and loyalty he has shown no only in our building with colleagues, but to the community of San Antonio, made him the obvious choice to lead 102.7 into the future. We are excited to see what he can do at the helm and with the direction of both Greg Martin and Keith Dakin.”
With a new identity, a deeper music library, and a seasoned host guiding the sound, 102.7 Bob FM signals a bold new chapter — one built around variety, personality, and the soundtrack of San Antonio.
