Connoisseur Media has promoted “Bay Country” KBAY/KKDV San Jose (94.5/92.1) afternoon drive host Emily Harlan to Music Director.

Since joining KBAY in 2022, Harlan has also assisted in music scheduling, label relations, promotions and on-air support. As Music Director, she will oversee the station’s music strategy and direction, working closely with programming and on-air talent, while continuing to host PM drive and the weekly “She’s Country” show focusing on women in country music.

“[Emily’s] keen attention to detail and collaborative spirit have made her a trusted resource among both staff and industry partners,” Connoisseur’s news releases said.

Adds Operations Manager J Love, “Emily has a real love for music and radio and a strong understanding of what serves our listeners. She’s earned this role, and I’m excited to work closely with her as we continue to grow and strengthen the sound of Bay Country 94.5.”

Harlan also hosts weekends on Connoisseur country sister station “98.7 The Bull” KUPL Portland, OR, and has served as in-arena and digital media host for the NHL’s San Jose Sharks since 2021. She was recently named the 2025 “Behind the Mic” mentee by Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW).
