103.1 The Wolf Raises $165,825 In St. Jude Kids Radiothon

Connoisseur Media’s 103.1 The Wolf (WWWF) held its first-ever “Country Cares for St. Jude Kids” Radiothon on February 6th and 7th, and the Long Island community responded in a big way. Thanks to the generosity of loyal listeners and incredible sponsors, the 2-day event raised an incredible $165,825 to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in its mission to treat and defeat childhood cancer. 103.1 The Wolf’s “Country Cares for St Jude Kids” radiothon is the kick-off event to a year-long fundraising effort that will continue through local partnerships and live events.
Throughout the two-day radiothon, 103.1 The Wolf aired heartfelt stories from St. Jude patients and their families, bringing listeners closer to the real impact of their donations. The powerful testimonials left 103.1 The Wolf’s on-air personalities visibly emotional, with some struggling to hold back tears while sharing the moving stories of courage and resilience.
“For our first year doing this, we had no idea what to expect, but our listeners and sponsors blew us away,” said Patrick Shea, Program Director of 103.1 The Wolf. “Hearing these stories firsthand was incredibly moving, and to see our community step up in such a big way proves just how much heart Long Island has. This is only the beginning—we’re committed to making this an even bigger success in the years to come.”
The success of the radiothon would not have been possible without the generosity of our top sponsor, John Starks Kia, who will donate to St Jude’s from every vehicle sold in February 2025. Our other amazing partners include American Community Bank, JC Discount Fuel, Nicolock, Theatre Three, Innovation Weight Loss, Long Island Shooting Range, Steel Sheds, Lavelle Law Firm, Daisy’s Nashville Lounge, Arrow Metal and E-Waste Recycling, and Property Tax Reduction. Their contributions helped make a real difference in the lives of St. Jude families.
The “Country Cares for St. Jude Kids” initiative doesn’t stop here. The radiothon marks the start of a year-long fundraising effort for 103.1 The Wolf, with multiple events and campaigns planned over the next 12 months to continue supporting St. Jude’s lifesaving work.
103.1 The Wolf is incredibly grateful to its listeners, sponsors, and the Long Island community for making this first radiothon a tremendous success. Every dollar raised ensures that families at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
