Each year, STAR 99.9 teams up with Stop & Shop and the Connecticut Food Bank for the “Food For Friends” food drive to benefit our neighbors in need. Thursday November 21st, each personality broadcasted live from a Stop & Shop location for 13 hours—this meant (3) simultaneous broadcasts, executed flawlessly from our engineering team. We collected 513 turkeys, 11,781lbs of food and $7,609.
